Ken Kratz is the Calumet County District Attorney, having been elected to 8 terms since 1992. With almost 25 years of prosecution experience, Ken has spent his career holding individuals accountable for their criminal behavior, while vigorously advocating for the rights of crime victims.

Ken is widely regarded as one of the most trusted and visible Republican elected officials in the 6th Congressional District of Wisconsin. His public profile increased dramatically the past two years, as he successfully prosecuted Steven Avery and Brendan Dassey in the homicide of Teresa Halbach, which became the largest investigation and most-watched homicide trial in State of Wisconsin history.

Ken serves as Chairman of the Wisconsin Crime Victims Rights Board, and was President of the Wisconsin District Attorneys Association in 1996.

Ken Kratz earned his BBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and Law Degree from Marquette University. Ken resides with his wife, MaryAlice, and son, Andy near the City of Appleton.
